DHAKA UNIVERSITY: The admission process for the first-year students of 2013-14 session of Dhaka University will begin on September 12, setting off a battle of merits to get chance in the premier varsity of the country.

DU officials said the decision on the admission procedures came from a meeting of the University Deans’ Committee Chaired by VC Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique.

The application forms will available at the websites, www.du.ac.bd and admission.univdhaka.edu, from September 12 to September 30 with Tk 350 charge.

The meeting also proposed schedule of the admission tests of different units of the university.

The admission tests for Ka-unit candidates are set for November 22 and the admission test for Kha-unit on November 8, Ga-unit November 15, Gha-unit for November 1 and Cha-unit students for November 23.
