SSC, equivalent exam results on May 31

DHAKA: The results of this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams are slated to be published on May 31. 

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will publish the results at 10am through videoconference at her official residence Ganabhaban. 

Education Ministry’s public relations officer Mohammad Abul Khair confirmed the matter in a statement on Thursday (May 21). 

A letter from the Prime Minister's Office confirmed it on Thursday, the statement said.

A total of 20,47,779 students–10,24,363 boys and 10,23,416 girls–took part in the examinations held between February 3 and 27 across the country.  

Since March 26, the government imposed a general holiday across the country in a bid to contain the coronavirus outbreak.
