DHAKA: The government is mulling on reducing the time duration and the number of subjects in this year’s Higher Secondary Examinations (HSC) and equivalent examinations due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni made the remarks at a virtual seminar organized by the Education Reporters’ Association, Bangladesh (ERAB) on Saturday (June 27).

She said: “The exams will be taken 15 days after overall situation comes under our favour.”

The students should be given enough time to complete their preparations, the minister added.
