The government has decided to reopen the medical colleges and universities of the country from September 13 in phases.

Health Minister Zahid Maleque made the announcement during a press briefing at the Secretariat in Dhaka on Thursday afternoon.

The minister said classes will be reopened in medical colleges and universities across the country from September 13 ensuring all kinds of protection. 

At this time everyone has to wear mask apart from maintaining social distance, he said. 

Everything will be reopened in phases observing the situation, Zahid Maleque added.
