North South University (NSU) has recently signed two Memoranda of Understanding with the University of South Pacific (Fiji) and the University of Algoma (Canada).

The purpose of these MoUs are joint research, publications, students and faculty exchange and developing the quality of education.

The Vice-Chancellor of NSU, Prof. Atiqul Islam said in this regard, these agreements will not only benefit NSU, but also help Bangladesh to reach across international boundaries and create new opportunities to introduce and promote the quality of education.

The Office of External Affairs of NSU has worked tirelessly in order for these MoUs to see the light of day.

It should be mentioned that at present NSU has a total of 177 academic collaboration agreements with renowned universities and organizations across the world and this marks the first time that a South Asian university has come into agreement with a university of the Southern Pacific region.
