Today (March 28) is the 44th birthday of Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan. His fans, friends, co-artistes and well-wishers have sent greeting messages to the actor on his birthday.
Born on 28 March 1979, Shakib Khan, made his debut in the film industry through Sohanur Rahman Sohan’s film ‘Ananta Bhalobasha’ in 1999. After that, he established himself as one of the most successful film actors of the country within very short time.
In 1998 Shakib Khan went to Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) with his dance master Aziz Reza, where he met a photographer who asked him to take part in a photo shoot.
During the photo shoot, film director Abul Khair Bulbul noticed Shakib and offered him the leading role in his movie “Shobaito Shukhi Hote Chai”. Shakib accepted the offer. But Shakib Khan made his debut in the big screen with “Ananta Bhalobasha” directed by Sohanur Rahman Sohan.
Shakib Khan has acted many popular movies including, “Amar Swapno Tumi”, “Chachu”, “Koti Takar Kabin”, “Dadima”, “Biye Bari”, “Ek Takar Bou”, “Mone Prane Acho Tumi”, “Bhalobashar Lal Golap”, “Tiger Number One”, “Boss Number One”, “King Khan”, “Mental”, “Shikari”, “Bossgiri” and “Priyotoma”.
Shakib is also a producer. His first-produced movie is “Hero: The Superstar”.
In his career, Shakib has received various awards, including four National Film Awards for Best Actor, for “Bhalobaslei Ghor Bandha Jay Na” in 2010, “Khodar Pore Ma” in 2012, “Aro Bhalobashbo Tomay” in 2015 and “Shatta” in 2017.
