Dhallywood actress Pori Moni and her two children are unwell, with her daughter, Safia Sultana Priyom, in critical condition. 

Priyom has been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU), while her son, Shahim Muhammad Punya, is suffering from a fever of 102 degrees Fahrenheit, Pori Moni confirmed.

On Monday night (August 18), the actress shared the news in a Facebook post, writing: “My daughter is in the ICU! My son has a 102-degree fever. I myself have a fever of 103.5 degrees, along with cough and breathing difficulties.”

Earlier, Pori Moni and her son Padma were admitted to the hospital on the doctor’s advice after falling ill.

Despite her illness, Pori Moni is scheduled to begin shooting soon for her upcoming film Golap. In it, she stars opposite actor Nirab. Shamsul Huda directed the political thriller.

The actress recently completed shooting for another film, Dodo’r Golpo, opposite Simon Sadiq. Filmed in multiple phases, the project has wrapped production and is awaiting release.
