DHAKA: Veteran Dhallywood filmmaker FI Manik has announced his latest film, slated to hit the shooting floor in February, 2019.

Story of the film, titled ‘Kathin Rai’, has been written by another renowned film-maker Chotku Ahmed.

“Story developing of the film is now nearly at end. But it may take almost two more months to sign the artists and kick-off the shooting,” Manik told banglanews Sunday (Dec 2).

The film will be made on a story revolving family affairs, he said.

The director further disclosed that ‘Kathin Rai’ may star Mahiya Mahi. Name of all the casts will be revealed soon.

However, Manik is also busy with his two other new films--‘Badsha Khan’ and ‘Agun Laaga Shondhya’.
