The interim government has decided to include e-cigarettes and electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) in the prohibited items list under the Import Policy Order.
This decision was finalized during an Advisory Council meeting chaired by Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus at the Chief Adviser’s Office on Thursday.
The Health Services Division spearheaded the move to ban e-cigarette imports, citing the urgency of protecting public health and shielding future generations from the harmful effects of ENDS products.
