Two more dengue patients died and 165 were admitted to hospitals across the country, according to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
During the same period, 44 dengue patients were hospitalized Dhaka and rest outside the capital.
This year, the total number of cases rose to 99,805 while 557 deaths from dengue disease were reported during the period, the statement added.
As of December 22, a total of 100,194 dengue cases have been reported, with 63.1% being male and 36.9% female.
The death toll from dengue this year has risen to 563, with two fatalities in 24 hour.
In 2023, from January 1 to December 31, the country recorded 321,179 hospitalizations and 1,705 deaths due to dengue, marking one of the worst outbreaks in recent history.
