Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed 15 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, while no deaths were recorded on Wednesday (June 12) afternoon.

According to DGHS, with the new cases, the total number of virus related cases in the country has reached 2,051,785.

DGHS in its report said 18 patients were recovered in 24-hour, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,019,398.

A total of 134 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, with a daily positivity rate of 9.35 percent. So far, 15,726,620 samples have been tested in the country.

The overall positivity rate now stands at 11.19 percent. The recovery rate is 98.42 percent, and the death rate remains at 1.44 percent, the DGHS said.
