The country has recorded 26 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Department. The infections were confirmed after testing 291 samples between 8 am Saturday and 8 am Sunday.

One more fatality from the virus has also been reported during this period, pushing the national death toll to 29,503 since the onset of the pandemic.

Meanwhile, the total number of recoveries across the country has reached 2,019,410, as per the latest official data.
