Health Adviser Nurjahan Begum has left Dhaka for Singapore to undergo medical treatment. She departed on a midnight flight on Monday.
Dr Manjurul Islam, Personal Secretary (Joint Secretary) to the Health Adviser, confirmed the matter to the media.
She is traveling to Singapore for a regular checkup.
She is scheduled to return to Dhaka on September 17.
