Bangladesh on high alert to prevent Ebola

DHAKA: Health Minister Mohammad Nasim said that government remains on high alert and precautions are being taken to prevent the deadly Ebola virus from entering the country.

He made the disclosure in a discussion meeting at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in city on Thursday.

The minister also said that the government is emphasizing on the health check up of foreigners and expatriate Bangladeshis at the airports to prevent this virus.

Mohammad Nasim is likely to visit Shahjalal International airport and monitor the process from now on.
