DHAKA: Health Affairs Minister Mohammad Nasim on Wednesday said prevention of diseases is impossible without disease cure research.

The health minister came up with the observation in a program of publishing report on Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College at a city hotel.

He said also said that the fund allocation for disease cure research is very poor in our country.

However, he mentioned that the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has assured providing all kind of cooperation to the research centers to prevent Malaria, Kala-azar and Tuberculosis.

Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College published a report on risky areas of Kala-azar and prevention and research of it in the program.
