DHAKA: The government has appointed Prof Abul Kalam Azad as Director General (DG) for health services for the second term, on contractual basis.

Health and Family Welfare Ministry issued a press release, in this regard, Wednesday (March 27).

Public Administration Ministry’s Contract and Foreign Employment Division Deputy Secretary Dilshad Begum issued a gazette, upon order from President Abdul Hamid, in this regard.

The appointment will be effective for next years, said the notice.
