DHAKA: Health Minister Zahid Maleque said no new coronavirus-infected patients have been detected in the country.

He said this while briefing on the latest situation at his secretariat office in Dhaka on Thursday (March 12).

“The three coronavirus-infected patients are now more or less fine. They will be discharged on any day,” said the minister.

“If we get more patients, we will take whatever measures we can. Our hospitals in divisions, districts and upazilas are ready. We are fully prepared now,” also said the minister.

“10 scanners will be installed at Chattogram Airport, Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Sylhet Osmani International Airport and Benapole land port within 2-1 days,” the minister added.
