Coronavirus: 41 die, 2,747 infected in 24-hr in Bangladesh

Bangladesh on Wednesday confirmed 41 more deaths from coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 3,781. 

According to the Health authorities, 2,747 people tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 2,85,091. 

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) made the update of the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.

As 2,913 patients recovered in last 24 hours, the number of total recovery reached 1,65,738, it also said. 

In the last 24 hours, some 14,678 samples were tested in 91 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country, the release added. 

Bangladesh reported its first croronaviurs case on March 8 while first death on March 18.
