Bangladesh today confirmed 14 more deaths from coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 6,173. 

According to the Health authorities, 1,531 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 430,496.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the update of the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.

As 1,462 patients have recovered in last 24 hours, the number of total recoveries reached 347,849, it also said.

A total of 2,527,173 samples have been tested so far with 11,795 samples tested in 115 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country in last 24 hours, the release added.

Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8 while first death on March 18.
