Bangladesh today confirmed 32 deaths from the coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 6,448. 

According to the Health authorities, 2,230 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 451,990.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the update of the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.

As 2,266 patients have recovered in last 24 hours, the number of total recoveries reached 366,877, it also said.

A total of 2,680,149 samples have been tested so far with 15,018 samples tested in 117 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country in last 24 hours, the release added.

Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8 while first death on March 18.
