Bangladesh today confirmed 45 deaths from coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 8,949. 

This is the highest in a single day death since Aug 28, 2020, when the country reported 47 deaths.

According to the Health authorities, 5,181 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 600,895. This is the highest in a single day count after the country had reported its first case on March 8 in last year.
since July 2, 2020, when the country reported 4,019 corona cases.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the update of the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.
