DHAKA: More than 60 people were killed in two explosions at a crowded market in northeastern Nigeria on Tuesday.
The twin bomb hit the market in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state, the sources said.
Hospitals have been flooded with injured residents, reports Aljazeera.
Market trader Usman Babaji told that one of the bombs was concealed in a motorized rickshaw, those are popular throughout the country.
However, Maiduguri is a stronghold for the armed group Boko Haram.
