Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted dry weather with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am today (Jan 31).

According to the BMD bulletin, moderate to thick fog may occur at places over river basins and adjoining area and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country duringlate night till tomorrow morning.

However, night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 31.3 degrees Celsius at Sylhet, while the minimum temperature today was 11.4 degrees Celsius at Srimangal.

The sun sets at 5.44 pm today and rises at 6.40 am tomorrow in the capital.
