AKHAURA (BRAHMANBARIA): Rail communications on Chittagong-Sylhet-Dhaka resumed on Monday evening after 10 hours hated.

The train movement became normal at 6:00pm, said a spot account of the incident.

Akhaura Loco shed In-Charge Mohsin Bhuiyan confirmed the matter to banglanews in the evening.

Earlier, communications of Chittagong-Sylhet-Dhaka rail rout were halted as a Chittagong-bound goods-carrying container train derailed at the entrance of Gangasagor rail station of the district on Monday morning.

Superintendent of Akhaura rail station Motaleb Hossain told banglanews that six railway freight trucks derailed around 8:15am at the entrance of Gangasagor rail station of Akhaura upazila.
