The filling stations of the country will remain open 24 hours for five days before and seven days after Eid.

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said this in a meeting aimed at ensuring safe and smooth travel of passengers on roads on the occasion of Eid in the conference room of BRTA's head office on Sunday (April 9).

At the same time, he directed the highway police and BRTA to keep a special vigil on the entry way of Dhaka to reduce the suffering during Eid.
