A youth was arrested by the Counter Terrorism Department of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) on the charge of creating a fake Facebook ID with a woman's photo and information and posting obscene posts.

The arrestee was identified as Abdul Mumin Tushar, 24.

Asif Mohiuddin, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of CMP's Counter-Terrorism Department confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

In September 2022, the accused defamed a woman he previously knew by collecting and using her information, pictures and creating a fake ID on Facebook by posting obscene posts, ADC added.
