A garment worker was killed in a motorcycle accident in Rajendrapur area of Gazipur on Sunday (April 9) afternoon.

The deceased Arif Hossain, 40, is a resident of Karitala area of Sariakandhi police station in Bogra. He was working as a supervisor in a garment factory in Gazipur.

According to locals, Arif lost control of his steering and fell on the road. He then died on the spot.

Gazipur Metropolitan Sadar Metro Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Mosharof Hossain confirmed the matter.

He said that legal action in this regard in under process.
