Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury, Gonoshayastha Kendra Founder and Valiant Freedom Fighter has been laid to rest at Savar, after fourth and final namaj-e-janaza.

He was buried on the left side of the main gate of the Gonoshayastha Kendra after Juma prayers today (April 14).

Earlier in the morning, people of all walks of life paid tribute to Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at PHA ground at Gonoshayastha Kendra.

Dr Zafrulla has long been under treatment for his kidney related complications. At the age of 81, he died Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital at Dhanmondi in the capital. 

His body was brought to Gonoshasthaya Kendra on Thursday night for burial.
