Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen yesterday (April 18) held a tripartite meeting on repatriate the Rohingyas in Kunming with representatives from China and Myanmar.

According to Foreign Ministry sources, the meeting discussed the implementation of the pilot project to repatriate the Rohingyas before the monsoon. 

China has urged Rohingya repatriation to begin before monsoon, sources added.

A pilot project of Rohingya repatriation is underway since 2021. For this purpose, a list is being scrutinized to send more than 1,000 Rohingyas to their own land.
