Jumatul Wida, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, was observed across the country today (April 21) with due religious solemnity.
Jumatul Wida has special importance as it is a prelude to the departure of the holy month for the Muslims.
On this day, thousands of Muslim devotees attended the Juma prayers at mosques across the country.
Meanwhile, the biggest Jumatul Wida congregation was held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in the capital.
Special arrangements were taken to accommodate the devotees at mosques in different parts of the city.
Taking part in the congregation, thousands of devotees sought blessings of Allah for peace of the departed souls of their near and dear ones and for the peace and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah.
