Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three fraudsters allegedly for selling fake SSC and equivalent examination question papers in Chattogram.
RAB arrested them from the city's Baklia area on Thursday (May 12).
The arrestees were identified as Ahmad Reza Khan, a madrasa student of fazil standard, Md. Rifat and Md. Arman, are first year student of a college from Partia.
According to RAB source, these fraudsters used to campaign through Facebook pages and tell people that the question papers of past years as the question papers of this year. They have three sets of question papers for each subject. Various poofs of selling fake question papers were found with them.
They also were using WhatsApp for selling question papers, and used to collect the money through mobile phone, source added.
RAB's assistant director (Media) Nurul Absar confirmed the matter.
The arrestees have been handed over to Baklia police station. A case has been filed against them, the official added.
