A clash broke out between two factions of the Awami League in Chauddagram of Cumilla on Tuesday (June 6).

However, vehicle movement on Dhaka-Chattogram highway has been halted due to the clash that occurred at 11:45 am.

According to locals, the clash took place between Mujibul Haque Mujib men and his rival group. Both groups exchanged chasing and shootings.

According to information, the clash has led to serious traffic congestion, causing at least a 10km long tailback.
