Four people including chairman Mahmudul Alam Babu were handed over to Bakshiganj police station over journalist Golam Rabbani Nadim murder.
They were handed over to police on early Sunday (June 18), confirmed Bakshiganj police station officer in charge Sohel Rana.
Earlier, RAB detained four people from Deviganj Upazila in Panchagarh on Saturday morning.
The detainees will be produced before the court with a seven-day remand plea at 11:00am, said the OC.
According to information, wife of the slain journalist Nadeem, filed a case against 22 people including chairman Mahmudul Alam Babu, and unknown 25 people with Bakshiganj police staion.
After filing the case, till now 12 people were arrested, according to police sources.
Banglanews24.com Jamalpur district correspondent Nadim, 42, died on Thursday, a day after he was attacked and injured allegedly by some supporters of a chairman Babu in Bakshiganj.
