Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am today (July 22).
According to the Met office bulletin, light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Dhaka divisions with moderately heavy falls at some places over the country.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded by 36.5 degrees Celsius at Feni minimum temperature today was recorded by 25.0 degrees Celsius at Rangamati.
Maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded by 41 millimeters (mm) at Sylhet of Sylhet division.
