Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained three members of Ameer of the newly formed militant outfit Jama'atul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya including its Ameer Md Anisur Rahman alias Mahmud from Munshiganj's Louhajang early Monday (July 24). 

The identities of the other members are yet to be released.

ANM Imran Khan, assistant director of Rab's Legal and Media Wing, confirmed the matter. 

Earlier on Sunday (July 23), RAB detained them early Monday after launching an operation in Munshiganj’s Louhajang area based on a tip-off. 

Local and foreign firearms, bomb-making equipment, pamphlets, and cash were recovered from their possession, he said.

The details would be released in the press conference at the RAB media centre in Kawran Bazar of the capital on Monday afternoon, the RAB official added.
