The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned envoys of 12 countries and European Union ambassador tomorrow (Wednesday) for their joint statement over the attack on Hero Alom during Dhaka-17 by-polls.
On July 19, the joint statement was signed by the embassies/high commissions of Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweeden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States and the delegation of the European Union.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned UN resident coordinator in Dhaka Gwyn Lewis for her tweet on attack on Hero Alam on July 20.
Hero Alam was attacked at the Banani Bidyaniketan School polling centre during by-election in Dhaka on July 17.
