Gold worth Tk 2 crore seized at Dhaka airport

Customs officials seized 1.890 kilograms of gold from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on Thursday night.

The estimated market value of the gold is Tk 1.89 crore.

This information was disclosed through a press release on Friday (July 28).

The gold was found abandoned wrapped with scotch tape in a toilet, the release said.

No one was arrested in this connection.
