DHAKA: United Kingdom`s Senior Minister of State at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office Sayeeda Warsi arrived in Dhaka on Thursday morning on an hours-long tour.

British High Commission to Dhaka confirmed the matter to banglanews.

As per the British HC, Warsi is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Opposition Chairperson over ongoing political crisis.

Sources said that she will meet the Prime Minister at around 11:00am and then opposition chairperson Khaleda Zia and Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali.

Later, after the press briefing at evening Warsi will visit the residence of UK high commissioner to Dhaka Robert W Gibson CMG.

Earlier on April, she visited Dhaka and gave emphasize on holding dialogue to settle the ongoing political stalemate.
