The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has launched a mobile court operation targeting brokers at the Agargaon Passport Office, which is under Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police station in Dhaka.

According to RAB-2, the operation began at 10 am on Monday (Sept 15) and was still underway at noon, when this report was filed.

Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (Media) Khan Asif Topu of RAB-2 confirmed the operation, saying four individuals had been arrested so far. 

The mobile court immediately handed them seven to ten days of varying jail terms.

RAB officials said a detailed briefing would be provided upon the drive's conclusion.
