Bomb hurled at ICT-1 justice Jahangir’s village home

NOAKHALI: Activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatra Shibir hurled petrol bombs and cocktails at village home of International Crime Tribunal-1’s Justice Jahangir Hossain Selim at Kabilpur Union under Senbagh upazila of the district early Friday.

Witnesses said hours after execution of war crimes convict Quader Mollah,  Jamaat-Shibir men launched the attack at around 12:30am that left kitchen of the house burnt to ashes.

On information, police rushed to the spot and fired 65 rounds of bullet to bring the situation under control.

Senbagh thana officer-in-charge Saikul Ahmed Bhuiyan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
