RUPGANJ, NARAYANGANJ: A man was killed by his younger brother centering family feud in Nagerbagh area under Golakanda union at Rupganj upazila of the district on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Rasel Mia, 22, son of Chan Mia resident of the area.

Witnesses said Rasel Mia misbehaved with his mother over a trifle matter. At one stage, his younger brother stabbed him dead on the spot.

Police nabbed the accused Mofijul, younger brother of the deceased, in this connection.

Bhulta Police Outpost Sub-Inspector Tarifuzzaman said the body was sent to Narayanganj Sadar Hospital Morgue for autopsy and a murder case was filed in this connection.
