A Dhaka court on Thursday (September 14) granted six months bail to Regent Group Chairman Md Shahed alias Shahed Karim in a graft case.

A bench of Justice Md Akhtaruzzaman granted the bail today.

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) lawyer Khurshid Alam confirmed the matter.

A court in Dhaka on August 21 sentenced Shahed Karim to three years' jail term in the case. 

In the verdict, the court fined Tk 1 lakh to Shahed which was paid within 60 working days. After that, Shahed appealed to the court.
