The National Identity Card (NID) server will remain down till tomorrow (Wednesday) due to maintenance purposes.

Election Commission's Information System Management Officer Aminul Islam confirmed the matter on Tuesday (September 19). 

He said the service will remain closed until 2:00pm on Wednesday.

Earlier, the NID server was down for approximately 38 hours from 12:00am on August 14.
