DHAKA: Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, expressed his outrage over the resolution passed by Pakistani National Assembly against the execution of war crimes convict Quader Molla.
He came up with the observation in his facebook status update at 3:00pm Wednesday .
Joy, the information and technology adviser to PM, also criticized BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia saying, “It is most unfortunate that this also includes our Leader of the Opposition, who has repeatedly met with ISI agents and has been directly funded by them in past elections. Shame on Khaleda Zia.”
The post reads as below—
“I am outraged by the resolution passed by Pakistani Parliament against the execution of Quader Molla. I am also outraged at the statement by Imran Khan that Quader Molla was innocent. Pakistani Army and their Jamaat collaborators slaughtered three million of our people in nine months of war. Their brutality was unimaginable. That this nation still has the audacity to not only deny this, but to lie and criticize the punishment of their “Butcher” makes me very angry as a Bengali.
Pakistan has never even apologized for the atrocities they committed against our people during our War of Liberation. They have harbored Al Qaeda for years including sheltering the most wanted terrorist in the world. They have supported and carried out terrorist attacks throughout South Asia including in Bangladesh. Their Parliament has just demonstrated their complete and utter lack of credibility and character. That they have done this in our Victory Month when we defeated them 42 years ago makes this even more insulting.
Let us boycott all Pakistani goods in Bangladesh and stop their import. All Pakistani flags in Bangladesh should also be pulled down. I call on everyone to march on the Pakistani High Commission and register your protest.
Let us also vow to wipe out their sympathizers and collaborators in Bangladesh once and for all. Please report all Jamaati’s to law enforcement or your local Awami League leaders. We will take action against them. It is most unfortunate that this also includes our Leader of the Opposition, who has repeatedly met with ISI agents and has been directly funded by them in past elections. Shame on Khaleda Zia.
Let`s uphold our spirit of 1971 once again and cry out louder Joy Bangla, Joy Bangabandhu!”
