Police recovered a youth’s body from Gulshan Baridhara Lake in the capital on Thursday (October 19). 

The deceased Khandkar Morshed Jaber lived with his family in Baridhara Park Road area.

Gulshan Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Haseeb Hossain confirmed the matter.

He said Jaber's body was recovered after the cleaners of the lake informed Gulshan police this afternoon.

The matter is being investigated. However, it is initially believed that Jaber may have committed suicide, the official added.
