BD man killed in Kuwait road crash

HABIGANJ: A Bangladeshi national was killed in a road accident in Porania Hospital area of Kuwait city, the political and economic capital of Kuwait, on Monday evening.

The deceased was identified as Monjab Ali, 37, hailed from Baniachang upazila of Habiganj district in Bangladesh.

Deceased’s friend and roommate Rajon Chowdhury, over cell phone from Kuwait, told banglanews that Monir went to Porania thana to update the documents of the private car of his employer also officer-in-charge of the same thana Ali Mia at around 7:00pm.

On the way to return home of his employer, another private car knocked the car from behind near Aradia Signal in Porania Hospital area, leaving him dead on the spot.

On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Porania Hospital morgue.
