MUNSHIGANJ: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also ruling Awami League president, is set to visit in the district to address two rallies on Friday afternoon.

Local Administration sources said to banglanews that Prime Minister will come from Gopalgaj by highway and Mawa-Kawrakandy ferry route.

PM Sheikh Hasina will address a rally at Lauhajang degree college ground at around 2:30pm to seek vote for party’s Munshiganj-2 constituency candidate Sagufta Yeasmin Emily.

Later, she will attend another poll-campaign rally in Sreenagar at around 3pm to seek votes for party’s Munshiganj-1 constituency candidate of Sukumar Ranjan Gosh.
 
Deputy Commissioner of Munshiganj M. Saiful Hassan told banglanews that centering the visit of the Prime Minister, administration and Awami League have taken a lot of preparations.

Lauhajang and Sreenagar areas on Dhaka-Mawa highway and areas of rally venues have been decorated with banners, festoons, placards.
