DHAKA: Ferry services on Paturia-Daulatia river route resumed on Tuesday morning after a four and half an hour halt due to poor visibility for dense fog.

Sources said that the authority has suspended the ferry services from 5:00am to avoid collision.

The ferry services resumed at around 9:30am when the fog cleared.

Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC)’s Paturia Ferry Ghat Assistant Manager (commercial) Mahiuddin Russell confirmed the matter to banglanews.
