RANGPUR: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also president of ruling Awami League, is set to addresses two rallies in the district on Tuesday.

District Awami League Senior vice-president AKM Sayadat Hossain Bakul told banglanews, “The premier is scheduled to arrive at Syedpur by helicopter at around 11:00am.”

Later, the Premier will address a rally at Jahangirabad high school ground of Panchgachhi Union and also address a street rally in TarafMouza high school round of Tukuria Union.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Hasina will visit the grave of her husband Dr. Wazed Mia and then sit in a meeting with the leaders and activists of the party.

Later, the PM will fly for Dhaka in afternoon.

Pirganj Upazila Awami League General Secretary Advocate Tazimul Islam Shamim told banglanews, “Centering the visit of the Prime Minister, all type of preparation has been taken and street rally of Barodargah has been postponed due to time shortage.”
