The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has increased the price of a 12kg liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder by Tk 29 to TK 1,433 for the month of January.

In December, 2023, the price was increased by Tk 117.02 to TK 1,404. 

BERC authority announced the new price at a press conference organized at the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission office today (January 2).

According to the announcement, The new price will be in effect from 6:00 pm today.

At the retail point of private LPG, price of one kg of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) at Tk 119.40 for the month of December, up from Tk 117.02 last month, said BERC authority.
